Artist Anneli Tammik Award winner at Cluster Contemporary Jewellery Edition 2024 with Mydaybyday Gallery in Rome
Anneli has worked as a freelance jewellery artist throughout her professional life. Born and raised in Estonia, nature is very important to her. Estonian forests and bogs are reflected in each of her collections, even the most geometric ones. Noticing patterns is part of being human. Nature's richness of pattern is the result of embracing the environment and fighting for survival, always trying to do more with less - tightest fit, shortest path, least energy expenditure.
In her collections, she focuses on system and order: repetitions, tessellation and tight connections. This is how she creates his systemic world. Anneli has changed the face of jewellery design in Estonia, using the latest technology to introduce a new dimension to a field long classified as mere ‘handicraft.
