"A plastic bag is the icon of our 50 years of disposable culture. It is fragile and ethereal, but at the same time, resistant and durable.
I like to work with it because of its meaning and apparent intrascendence. I convert it into a portable object to remind me of the nonsense, the comfort and immediacy of our societies and my own life.
I rescue the "insignificance", revaluing it. I give it a fixed gaze in order to reflect on how we will be trapped if we do not learn from our blind decisions. We often forget that our world is a great network that interrelates.
Wrap to heal the wound, patch to be reborn. Weave a chrysalis."
