Sabrina Formica has a background in fashion and graphic design. After more than ten years working as a fashion designer and consultant for international companies, in jewelry making she finds her true calling and a way to express her visions and inner contrasts. Her interest in jewelry is not about the preciousness of the materials but about the magic in transforming a simple piece of metal (mostly brass from industrial waste) into a light wearable 'poetic metalwork' enclosing memories and personal feelings. It's the perfect combination of everything she's passionate about: illustration, sculpture, poetry, experimentation.
Her work has been selected for international jewellery/art fairs and exhibitions and it’s available in jewellery galleries in Italy and abroad. She loves free spirits and broken souls.
